After helping producers sell their products in Asia, she returned in France to promote a Cru des Côtes du Rhône. Head of Training for Editions Jean Lenoir, Léa Desportes has worked in different areas of the wine industry. Daniel Pescio has been a member of the Société Française des Parfumeurs since 2006. In 2015, he created his own perfume firm, DP Parfums, and since then as an independent perfumer he has worked in the areas of creation, leading workshops, and perfume expertise, both in France and other countries. In 2010, Daniel Pescio joined Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle as Head of Retail, Exports and Training.
A graduate of ISIPCA (Institut Supérieur du Parfum) in Versailles, he has worked for prestigious firms like Chanel, Dior, Tom Ford, Prada, Narciso Rodrigues, Hermès, Serge Lutens, By Kilian, Cartier and Guerlain. We propose a sensory approach to learn how to read both of them -to "read" and also "write" them, since you will take away your own perfume creation. Your first perfume creation is wanting for you.Conducted by perfumer Daniel Pescio and Léa Desportes, Head of Training for Editions Jean Lenoir, the Wine and Perfume Workshop takes you on a fabulous voyage to the land of scents and builds a bridge between the worlds of Wine and Perfume. To discover everything, sign up for our perfumes creation workshop with our perfumer. Does your creation smell really different, is it better or worse ? It is up to you to tell us. After few days, the smell will evolve and change until it. At the end of this, the ingredients on your bottle will react together. Also this workshop will allow you to carry out the first steps of this meticulous work. Thierry Wasser, Guerlain’s nose, notably took 5 years to finish one of them. It takes several months or even years to create a perfume. Our perfumer will help you at every step, find the ingredients, the best quantity. Will they be successful? How many tries will you need to find the perfect match? Like a real perfumer, you write your ingredients and their quantity, you will introduce them drop by drop, ingredient after ingredients and then we smile your creations. Once you determinated these points, comes the choice of the ingredient. Come and tell us your inspirations, the olfactive family you want to interpret. A perfume creation can be inspired by your story, a moment of your life or your favourite ingredient. Will it be fruity, woody, sensual, spicy or fresh? You choose.
